Before you go

Meet kindly. Stay safe.

Most MomPop meetups are coffees, walks, and library story times. Wonderful 99% of the time. Here's how we do the other 1%.

Pick a Safety Buddy manually.

Automatic Safety Buddy texts are coming soon. For alpha, text or call one IRL friend before you leave so someone you trust knows where you'll be.

Meet in public.

Coffee shops, parks, libraries, story time. We never let hosts post home addresses. Approximate location only.

Check in when you arrive, check out when you leave.

Use your own text thread for now. Tell your buddy when you arrive, then text again when you leave or get home.

Confirm before you go.

MomPop cancels meetups when fewer than half of the RSVP list confirms. This protects moms from showing up to an uncertain plan.

If something feels off — leave.

You don't owe anyone an explanation. Tap Report from any POP, profile, or message. A real human reads every report within 24 hours.

Meetup acknowledgement
MomPop helps you find moms, but it does not supervise meetups.

In-person plans are member-led and optional. MomPop does not verify every attendee, provide childcare, transportation, medical help, emergency response, or guarantee anyone's conduct. Use your own judgment, meet in public, keep exact addresses private, bring another adult when it feels right, and leave immediately if anything feels off.

This is practical safety language for alpha. Have an attorney review the final Terms, waiver, and release before scaling meetups.

A small reminder.

Don't share your home address, your child's school, or your work schedule with moms you've just met. Even good people can have bad weeks.
